MAURICE LEBLANC (1864-1941)
- The teeth of the Tiger Maurice Leblanc was born in Rouen in 1864. He studied law and worked in a family business. He was well-known in Paris for his novels, which Guy de Maupassant really loved. But nowadays, these works are forgotten. In 1907, Maurice Leblanc's work came into a turning point: Arsene Lupin, gentleman-cambrioleur first appeared in the magazine "Je Sais Tout". It was such a success, that lebalnd decided to devote all his time to writing more adventures of this French hero. Maurice Leblanc died in Perpignan in 1941 |
