EDGAR ALLAN POE (1809-1849)
Born in Boston on January, 19 of 1809, Edgar Allan Poe lost his mother in 1811 and was taken into the family of John Allan, a member of the firm of Ellis and Allan. Poe went to school in England and Richmond and then registered at the University of Virginia before starting writing novels for differents newspaper. His first success came from "The Black cat" issued in many american newspaper on 1843. Then he decided to live thanks to his writing. He died on October, 7 of 1849. |
