ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON (1850-1894)
- Catriona - A child's garden of verses - An inland voyage - Kidnapped - Treasure Island Born in Edinburgh on November 1850, he was the son of an engineer. At the age of 17, he enrolled at Edinburgh University but abandonned this course and made the compromise of studying law. He passed advocate in 1875 but did not practice since by now he knew he wanted to be a writer. Then, he started visiting the world, going to Germany, France or United States. |
